A norm is a standardized score that is determined through the collection of scores of many different students at the same grade level. I LOVE learning about fractions. I'm not really sure why, but I enjoy teaching it every year. This year while cruising on Pinterest I came across an interesting picture by the oh-so-amazing Mrs. Lemons. I was so inspired by what I saw, I decided to do something similar. Perfect Pizza fraction directions Supplies Needed: -red and yellow construction paper -construction paper (any color...I used green) -circle template (I used the lid to my gigantic bucket of cheese balls...now my used crayons container) -ruler or straight edge -scissors -glue -crayons, markers, or construction paper (to make the pizza toppings) Depending on the age of your students and the amount of time you are wanting to spend on the activity you may choose to cut the piece out yourself or have your students cut them.
