http://archive.org/details/gd73-07-28.sbd.weiner.14196.sbeok.shnf This show is a very average show for 73, probably one of my top 3 or 4 GD years. You are much better off enjoying the soundcheck from the night before. Also, as far as the recording... the board is very clear, but the mix is way off.
play these together, some or all, start them at any time, in any order. more info... Simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer. Each triggered step causes a force on the underlaying wave-map , which makes it more cute. it could be a very popular and really addictive thing if you keep working on it! http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix

Otomata

Each alive cell has 4 states: Up, right, down, left. at each cycle, the cells move themselves in the direction of their internal states. If any cell encounters a wall, it triggers a pitched sound whose frequency is determined by the xy position of collision, and the cell reverses its direction. If a cell encounters another cell on its way, it turns itself clockwise. http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata

No matter how many times Ive listened to this jack straw, I always get a chill when he hits those harmonics strumming at the end of the first guitar solo. His guitar playing always seem to speak to some plesure center in my brain. Nice version I remember having this on a 90 min cassette tape (Barton Hall '77) - but, of course, it only had SOME of this incredibly awesome show. But the stuff that was on the tape version I had (back when I was in high school in the mid-late 80s)included an incredibly awesome version of "Scarlet Begonias", "Fire on the Mountain", one of the very first, if not the first "Estimated Prophet"'s, St Stephen and more. I used to be entranced listening to the Scarlet/Fire jam that lasted about 15-20 min.
