On August 20th, 2011 residents in and around the Wayne, NJ area felt the wrath of the tropical storm “Hurricane Irene” as the flood waters washed through the streets and through the homes of many local residents leaving them no choice but to abandon their homes until the flooding had calmed down.
Well here we are almost 6 months after Hurricane Irene tore through the town of Wayne, NJ and many surrounding towns and some people are still waiting on construction to be completed on their homes so they can go back to living their normal lives once again. On a positive note the majority of people in this area have already had repairs completed to their homes and have moved back in and started to live their normal lives again.
