Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Pi laptop

http://www.element14.com/community/groups/raspberry-pi/blog/2012/09/08/raspberry-pi-laptop?CMP=SOM-TW-e14-RasPi My last post showed how I assembled a portable Pi using a 3.5" composite LCD. Well, I've got a better option this time around, the Motorola Atrix lapdock! The Atrix lapdock was originally intended for Motorola's Atrix Android smartphone. It didn't sell very well for it's original purpose, so you can pick one up for around to $50 to $100 on eBay and Amazon.

3 Reasons Why Linear E-Learning May Be the Best Solution

http://www.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/3-reasons-why-linear-e-learning-may-be-the-best-solution/ It would be cool if every course we build was highly interactive with decision-making branches. Android 4.0 is coming!

Update: those of you looking to play with Android on Pi in advance of our source code release might want to check out the community Razdroid project, which last month produced its first non-accelerated port of Gingerbread on top of the publicly released VideoCore binary. Naren has been working on a port of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to Raspberry Pi, and as you can see from the screenshots and video below, he’s been making great progress. Hardware-accelerated graphics and video have been up and running smoothly for some time; AudioFlinger support is the only major missing piece at the moment. This implementation uses a different kernel and VideoCore binary image from the one available on GitHub, which is why we’ve been keeping quiet about it so far. We’re investigating the feasibility of converging the two code lines to produce a single common platform as soon as we can, at which point we hope to release the sources for you to play with.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/9437459/How-hackers-steal-bank-details-from-chip-and-pin-machines.html Using this code to programme a fake chip and PIN card, they loaded the chip with malicious software capable of “reprogramming” the reader. The card can be made to look like a normal credit or debit card in order for criminals to be easily able to use it in shops or cafes. The malicious card then transfers its software to the reader, which begins storing the details of all subsequent cards inserted. The criminal then returns later on, using a second malicious card to download the data, including the card numbers and PINs.
