[ROM][Toro/Maguro][AOSP] *Requiem* 4.3 Beta 3.1 (8-3) & 4.2.2 Stable - [VZW] Galaxy Nexus Development.

Welcome to the Requiem thread everyone! Let me give you a rundown about my vision for the ROM and a tiny slice of my back story... I, like many of you, started from the bottom, as a n00b. I lurked in threads, asked the right questions, got involved with the right people, and here I am, releasing my own ROM. This time last year, I would have been content to just use other people's builds, and create themes for them, but my mindset changed last December. I decided to get more involved in the development community, and this is the result... Requiem...My first ROM. My Vision: It's my opinion that the ROM scene has become too mainstream...too accessible to the new user. With that in mind, what will Requiem be? So what can you expect from me? What do I expect from you? Directions: 4.3 Beta 3.1 [Toro] & Beta 3 [Maguro]: Changelog: - initial release for Maguro - revert Google code, and enable BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) (Manuel Naranjo) - edits to improve softkey performance and responsiveness Download:

And while we’re sure by now, most of you are experts, you no doubt have many friends and family who are either making the transition to Android from another OS, or simply aren’t as tech savvy as you. For those, we’ve created a basic “Android how-to” guide. Here we will explain how to accomplish some of Android’s more remedial tasks (for the noobies), in an effort to save your sanity, and help everyone enjoy Android to its fullest.

Now, let’s take a look at sideloading Android applications onto your smartphone. What is sideloading? “Sideloading” is just another word for installing an Android application onto your phone, from somewhere other than the Google Play Store. Take heed. Step 1 Enabling app sideloading, is easy. Step 2 Now that we’ve done that, we’re ready to rock and roll. Step 3 And that’s all there is to it. Android Developer Guide.
