Este fue el punto de partida para los colaboradores de Colectivo DiezyMedia, quienes lograron, mediante el video y la animación, transgredir la cotidianidad de los espacios públicos y los convencionalismos a la hora de producir un cortometraje.
El proyecto Ciudad Intervenida nació de la necesidad de un grupo de productores de animación independientes, de generar contenidos con mayor duración y la posibilidad de ser difundidos. “Por lo general, los animadores trabajan exclusivamente en sus estudios y talleres encerrados por mucho tiempo. La idea era presentarles el reto de trabajar en una locación que los obligara a salir del estudio y a encontrar soluciones narrativas nuevas”, señaló César Moheno Plá, productor ejecutivo de Ciudad Intervenida, en entrevista con Museógrafo.
