Insuring Our Future through Scholarships and Grants in New Jersey. Plymouth Rock Assurance — Teachers’ Insurance Plan of NJ provides affordable rates for members of the educational community, but our involvement doesn’t stop at saving you money on car insurance. We also help raise funds for schools through our Quotes for Cash® program, and help teachers and students through our Scholarships and Grants program. Every year, we provide special scholarships and grants to awardees selected from applicants exclusively in participating Quotes for Cash organizations. Five $1,000 Scholarships: Available to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted by a two- or four-year college, university, or technical school.

Applications are available in November and must be submitted to Teachers' Insurance by March 15. Only one scholarship per student will be awarded. In 2008 we celebrated 5 years of commitment to innovative educators who are transforming teaching and learning through the effective use of technology as part of the HP Technology for Teaching program. HP believes that teaching excellence, combined with the right technologies, has a positive impact on student achievement.

The HP Technology for Teaching Grant Initiative is designed to support the innovative use of mobile technology in K-16 education, and to help identify K-12 public schools and two- and four-year colleges and universities that HP might support with future grants. The HP Technology for Teaching initiative encompasses a total investment of nearly $60 million from 2004 to 2008, impacting over 1000 educational institutions in 41 countries.
