Aquaticus Figment

Really, truly, monumentally terrible. When you hear stories of seventeen divers going missing in the span of three years, your first instinct should not be, "Let's get in there and see what's going on! " No, that instinct should be telling you very loudly, very clearly, "STAY AWAY. " He was an idiot for suggesting it. The boat anchored in the spot where the last few divers were seen before disappearing. "You ready, Con? " "Yeah, just a bit nervous is all," Conway replied with a shaky smile. "You'll be fine. "No big deal," Conway echoed dully.

Right. He slithered to the edge of the boat and put on his mask. Deep breath of fresh, real air, and a second more before he slipped into the blue. Underwater was clear, a bit devoid of life. Very few fish passed by him. As he descended, the light changed with quiet flickers. Until, of course, he caught movement at the corner of his eye. Another flash of movement, of something, again in the corner of his eye. A face. Atargatis. Atargatis /əˈtɑrɡətɨs/ or Ataratheh (/əˈtærəθə/; Aramaic: ‘Atar‘atheh or Tar‘atheh‎) was a Syrian deity, the chief goddess of northern Syria[1] (Michael Rostovtzeff called her "the great mistress of the North Syrian lands"),[2] Ctesias also used the name Derceto for her.[3] and to the Romans as Dea Syriae ("Syrian goddess").

Atargatis

Primarily she was a goddess of fertility, but, as the baalat ("mistress") of her city and people, she was also responsible for their protection and well-being. Her chief sanctuary was at Hierapolis, modern Manbij,[4] northeast of Aleppo, Syria. She is sometimes described as a mermaid-goddess, because of a fish-bodied goddess at Ascalon. However, there is no evidence that Atargatis was worshipped at Ascalon, and all iconographic evidence shows her as anthropomorphic.[5] Her consort is usually Hadad. Name and origin[edit] The name Atargatis derives from the Aramaic form ‘Atar‘atheh, which comes in several variants. Cult centers and images[edit] Neptune's Daughter ~ Mermaid Dress Up. Neptune's Daughter ~ Mermaid Dress Up

I didn't want to just call this another Mermaid Dress Up Game because I felt that would undervalue inkscribble's majestic drawings. In my mermaid research I came upon the title "Neptune's Daughter" which was a movie filmed in 1914. I ran a poll on the Facebook Page and the name came out a winner. I really feel it captures the mysterious and royal feel of the artwork. A huge amount of beta tester suggestions went into this dress up, so a big thanks to everyone! A huge thanks to premium member Hyper_Piggie who took me up on my hairstyle drawing laments and created the last two hairstyles! Bloodless. Webbed. Inhuman. Nosferatu Vampiro Wallpaper. Viperfish.
