I absolutly love the band since I discovered, the single young folks was the first I heard about they, it takes me some time to find out the name of the band, I admit, i discharged write´s block only for that song but it was worthy, i listened to others song, i love the lyrics, I enjoyed not just the music as the lyrics, today i listened poor cows and that resembles this economy times, i really haven’t paid attention to that song and when I realize it was very poetic in a simple form, I just wonder why doesn’t exist a video about this good song, it inspires me to do a video, i was having an argument about economy and environment some minutes before with some guys and that was just how I felt after, so please you should make a video of every song on their albums, at least i´ll do about poor cow for sure!

The title of the tune was very apt for its mood and the setting, which frontman Ewan Currie says reflects the philosophy of both his band, and the city of Austin, Texas. “It’s nice to just kinda chill and see people having a good time, having a beer and listening to music,” says Currie.

Every day in the UK, six young people are told they have cancer. Usually placed on a children’s ward or with elderly patients, young people often feel extremely isolated whilst being treated for cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust believes young people shouldn’t stop being teenagers just because they have cancer. So the charity builds units in NHS hospitals that offer young people specialist care, bringing them together so they can support each other in an environment suited to their needs. As well as specialist units, Teenage Cancer Trust also funds a number of services all with the same goal – to help young people fight cancer. These include clinical and research staff, an education programme for schools, family support networks and an annual conference for young cancer patients.
