So, you're Starbucks and you have $7.3 billion in the bank. What do you do? Invent your own app platform, of course! Starbucks recently updated their Starbucks for Android app so that it fits Android's Holo theme and we have to say they did a good job: their new app looks TONS better than their old one. There's just one problem: they forgot how to spell the platform on which they're offering their new app. They're currently pronouncing it Andriod, or And-ree-odd.Carbon for Android has been a long time coming, and has to be one of the more hotly anticipated apps of recent times. While the original projected release date may have come and gone, no-one can deny that the developers, Dots and Lines, have been working hard to complete. The latest application in the CyanogenMod arsenal “Apollo” was announced way back in October and found its name in January but after 7 months (Time flies!) Andrew Neal has bestowed upon us Apollo. Apollo is very polished and clean although for the time being is Ice Cream Sandwich Only (Coming to 2.3 devices soon and to the market), It is theme-able lets you share what your listening to and links your to DSP Manager (Equalizer bundled with CyanogenMod) I’ve added a “Recent” tab, that shows your recently added tracks and a “Genres” tab.
