Choosing and then ranking the movies wasn't easy: As you'll see, a number of recent blockbusters that may already be in your family's regular movie-watching rotation made the cut, but some of our absolute favorites date back to as early as 1937.

Flamingo is the solo debut studio album by American singer/songwriter and The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers , which was released on September 3, 2010 in Australia, September 6, 2010 in the UK and September 14, 2010 in the US. [ 2 ] It was recorded in Battle Born Studios , Winchester, Nevada , and Henson Recording Studios , Hollywood, California. [ 3 ] [ edit ] Recording In December 2009, rumors began to circulate about a possible Brandon Flowers solo album. [ 4 ] In January 2010, The Killers announced that they would go on a "hiatus". [ 5 ] After a mysterious countdown on the Killers official website, Flowers confirmed on April 29, 2010 that he would be releasing a solo album entitled Flamingo . [ 6 ] The album is named after Flamingo Road (in Brandon's hometown of Las Vegas ), where many pivotal events in his life occurred: Sam's Town Casino is on Flamingo, his first job was at a golf course on that road, and he met his wife in a thrift store on the road as well. a[›] [ 7 ] [ 8 ]

I was incredibly lucky that my Mom owned a beautiful second-hand book store throughout my adolescence, because I constantly got to reap the reward of having amazing literature at my finger tips. Whatever I wanted to read, I was lucky enough to get to read. And as a result of the store taking second-hand books, can you even grasp how many amazing books must I got to read, that I never would have known about otherwise? Every few days, I was switching out. I never kept a book, so she never lost a cent, but I was always reading, always taking in knowledge.
