Bassist Tony Levin has been sharing his road experiences here since 1996 (which sounds fairly recent, but in the Internet world, it isn't. Even the terms weblog and blog were coined in 1997 and 1999.) Great show last night in Ann Arbor, with the California Guitar Trio. I have another with them this Wednesday, back in New York State, at Pawling's Towne Crier. Working on eBook version of my Crimson Chronicles for Fall release - it's going to be great, with lots of extras beyond the orinal photo book. In looking through my old tour stuff, I came across a lot of tour passes and itineraries - worth taking a look at!Starless and Bible Black and Discipline are the latest King Crimson re-issues in the 40th anniversary series. Both releases feature new stereo and surround sound mixes by Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp, Sid Smith's sleeve notes, and copious extra tracks and alternate versions of classic King Crimson material. One of the most anticipated & frequently requested high quality vinyl reissues finally returns to the 12" format. The vinyl edition of In the Court of the Crimson King is now available for order.

This album contains several brand new arrangements, and also some previously unreleased versions of CGT classics. Howard Givens did an amazing job on the mix, making this our most "acoustic" album yet. Each of these tracks marks a significant milestone in our 20 years of work together, and though all pieces were recorded in different studios at different times, Howard found a way to make it sound as if you were sitting in the same room with us, sharing the experience. Tony Levin is featured on 3 tracks playing upright bass and cello. Chicago guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque plays some beautiful classical guitar on an arrangement of Vivaldi's 'Winter'.
