The client came to us with a particular vision of garden house, which can maximize a correlation to outdoor space from within. From client’s brief of room program, come to quite huge area of 800 square meter, which should be located within limited site.

Architectural concept In respond to limited site, compare to huge program. we try to elaborate and combine two courtyard spaces, which arranged vertically and super impose each other. Consequently, the above layer of courtyard should be able to be penetrated by sunlight and natural air to give life to courtyard below. Interior concept. Video. Sacred Geometry: Flower of Life. Sacred Geometry - Flower of Life By Andrew Monkman I believe the complete ancient flower of life is an inter-dimensional tool, a portal, a stargate, a window into what some call the inter space plains. The original flower of life (found on several pillars within "the Osireion" at abydos in Egypt) is incomplete, because it is only the first layer of three (pic1+2). 1. The Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt. 2. The complete flower has the other two layers added, making it three dimensional (pic3). 3. What appears is a reptilian entity. Flower of Life - Beijing, China The second being is the Chinese dragon ( the fu dog). You may know that the complete flower contains the kabbalah`s tree of life, the fruit, the egg and the seed of life (pic. 4 & 5). 4. 5. The complete flower also contains the three dimensional metatron cube (pic6), which holds all the Platonic solids (pic7). 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

Remodeled and extended in 2002, this three story home features four bedrooms, two baths, and an indoor solar heated saltwater lap pool. Located in Battery Point, a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, the now 3,895 square foot residence is currently on sale. Buy it now! Kay Houseby Maria Gigney Architects: “Alteration + additions to an existing brick cottage on the bank of Hobart’s Derwent River.

This airy pavillion of steel and glass captures seemingly endless vistas of water and sky, whilst maintaining a humble and unassuming street entry. The lap pool is pivotal to the entire design, and in careful composition of the pool atrium glazing and elegant steel structure, a dramatic play of volume and light is created. Passive solar principles were engaged to reduce energy consumption in a structure mostly glazed.” Source: Corkhill. Benelong Crescent Apartments by Luigi Rosselli Architects (Video) By Eric • Nov 17, 2011 • Selected Work Australian studio Luigi Rosselli Architects has just completed the Benelong Crescent Apartments project in Bellevue Hill, an eastern suburb of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. This new residential building is inspired by the sinuous forms of Erich Mendelsohn’s Einstein Tower in Potsdam, completed in the 1920’s. Benelong Crescent Apartments by Luigi Rosselli Architects: “The apartments cascade down the hill to follow the contours and the curved terraced balconies are shaped by the irregular boundaries of the site, rounded off by the prevailing winds. The Living areas have ample fenestrations opening on the large terraces, extending the interior spaces on the projecting panoramic outdoor space.

The high end of the building is facing a quiet street with large trees and the walls have been moulded to wrap around the trees. The individual treatment of the different apartments has provided a “this is not a flat” look.” Horst Glasker Transforms Drab Wind Turbines Into Inspiring Works of Art. The use of wind power is increasing worldwide. Despite their incredible production of renewable energy, windmills have often been viewed as a bit of an eyesore along an otherwise untouched landscape. With his latest project, Aero Art, German artist Horst Glasker had decided to not just acknowledge the windmill’s environmental contribution but celebrate it by painting the ho-hum white turbines fantastical colors and patterns that are impossible to ignore.

Most wind turbines are traditionally painted white, light blue, or green to fade into the surrounding landscape and sky. Glasker took issue with the overlooking of such a powerful source of energy and began painting them brilliant day-glo colors. This superficial makeover is aimed to encourage people to not only take a second look and enjoy their local wind turbines but also begin to appreciate what they do for the environment. + Aero Art via knstrtc.

Have you ever seen a building that looked like it could house a city? Dutch architecture firm UNStudio has just released their design for Scott's Tower which will be in Singapore. The 31-story building will feature 231 apartments that offer impressive views of the surrounding area. The most striking part of the design is the two openings in the buildings facade called Sky Frames.

One will be found at the base of the tower while the other is closer to the top. Both Sky Frames will feature gardens, swimming pools, and barbecue pavilions all housed within the openings. According to the architects, Scott's Tower is meant to feel like a vertical city, incorporating as many aspects as possible to create a comfortable and modern living environment. Hong Kong designer Joey Ho designed the Arthouse Café on the top floor of a three-storey building that also houses a gallery. Some of the triangular openings are contained within wood-lined recesses, while others have thick wooden frames. Monochrome chairs and tables that furnish the cafe also feature triangular surfaces and facets. Some other interesting cafes we've featured include one that looks more like a warehouse and another that has a wall of timber offcuts - see more here.
