Eeyore quotes

Ralph Wright. Ralph Waldo Wright (May 17, 1908 – December 30, 1983) was a Disney animator and story/storyboard writer who is best known for providing the gloomy, sullen voice of Eeyore from the popular Winnie-the-Pooh franchise.

Wright came to the studio in the 1940s and became well known throughout the ensuing decades for his endearingly gloomy and sullen personality traits as well as his bass voice. He turned out to be a natural model for Eeyore when the studio began development on Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. He, along with his fellow Disney contemporaries, was a pioneer in the use of "gags" within cartoons, often acted out in front of the "story board," a bulletin board pinned with sequential sketches of the cartoon's scenes.

This technique still in use today in most major animation studios. He spent the last 30 years of his life in San Luis Obispo County in Los Osos. File:Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore Sculptures by Nancy Schon.jpg.

Risks for a Sustainable Future (or How Eeyore Would See Green Construction)

In many ways I can relate to the clouds. As an attorney I almost always feel like I am raining on the “sustainable building” parade. On Build2Sustain conference calls, I always feel like I’m the one saying “whoa” we need to think about the liability. As I’ve said at Musings before, Eeyore is one of my favorite characters from A. I can relate. Insurance- the insurance industry is still catching up with energy related underwritingWhat standard of care applies due to a green building claim? I sometimes feel like we are rushing past these issues without the careful thought that we need to give such risks in our (understandable) enthusiasm. The government can only do so much through mandate. Until then, Eeyore and I will keep plugging through the rain. The Eeyore Tendency « Bishop's Blog. Remember Eeyore?

Talk about someone who’s glass is always half-empty. “It’s snowing still,” said Eeyore gloomily. “So it is.” “And freezing.” “Is it?” Or there again: Eeyore, the old grey Donkey, stood by the side of the stream, and looked at himself in the water. Now you may have met me when I’m “up front” and leading the cheers; but 10 out of 10 shrinks wouldn’t be surprised to learn that inside I’m one big Introvert. And that for me means that there’s quite a strong Eeyore Tendency too, and I dig a real hole for myself given half a chance. What to do? Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. Eeyore is a favorite amongst most admirers of Winnie the Pooh characters and he is an unbelievably loveable donkey who is dismally gloomy for almost eternity.

But that’s not Eeyore’s perception of himself, according to him; he doesn’t expect too much of himself and therefore remains quiet for most of the time. That in no ways means he isn’t an intelligent animal, he is actually quite knowledgeable yet he confines his knowledge to himself. This is the reason why he is very quiet most of the time and a bit depressed.

Eeyore, a very gloomy, blue-gray donkey, is stuffed with sawdust. His appearance is highlighted by a small light pink bow on his tail; this reflects well on this animal when there is an occasional hint of joy that surfaces in Eeyore. Eeyore has very little expectations from his friends and therefore wherever there is an occasion where his friends gather around his to help him, his thoughts of receiving the worst are dismissed and he has a feeling of being grateful to them.
