Well, Spanish art collective Luzinterruptus is at it again. This past June the group travelled to Australia to create a massive, traffic-stopping installation using thousands of glowing books scattered across Federation Square in Melbourne. Titled "Literature vs Traffic" the installation was created using books that had been collected by the Salvation Army after being discarded from public libraries. The project aimed to take control of public space and install itsel in the streets, stealing precious space from the dense traffic in the area.

Alicia Martin’s Biografias Installation The Spain-based artist’s sculptural installation at Casa de America, Madrid depicts a cavalcade of books streaming out of the side of a building. The whirlwind of literature defies gravity and draws attention with its size. There have been three site-specific installations, thus far, of the massive sculptural works in this series known as Biografias, translated as Biographies, that each feature approximately 5,000 books sprawled out around and atop one another. The Spain-based artist’s sculptural installation at Casa de America, Madrid depicts a cavalcade of books streaming out of the side of a building. Wild Reindeer Foundation, Oslo by Snøhetta The Norwegian Wild Reindeer Centre Pavilion built by Snøhetta Oslo AS is located at Hjerkinn on the outskirts of Dovrefjell National Park, overlooking the Snøhetta mountain massif. The main purpose of the 75m2 building is to provide shelter for school groups and visitors as mountain guides lecture about the unique wildlife and history of the Dovre Mountain plateau. A 1,5km nature path brings visitors to this spectacular site, 1200 meters above sea level. This unique natural, cultural and mythical landscape has formed the basis of the architectural idea.
