Social media pioneer John Cornyn joins the Pinterest revolution | Texas on the Potomac. Sen. John Cornyn is the owner of a shiny new Pinterest account. In response to Barack Obama’s speech where he said, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” Sen. John Cornyn took to Pinterest to promote Texas entrepreneurs who built their own businesses. In a new campaign called “I built this”, which debuted online Wednesday, Cornyn is letting Texas citizens who have built up businesses tell their stories.

The Pinterest account, as well as a section on Cornyn’s home website, currently feature 5 stories from Texas citizens who helped Texas earn the #1 ranking as the best state for business in the country by CNBC.
