911 Operator by PlayWay. Never know when they might be useful in real life! But this is not all - other calls might be about ongoing crimes, drugs dealing, family abuses. We also covered fires and technical problems (like chemical hazards or people trapped in elevator). You will get confused why and in which situations people can call 911 :) We made some rocket science to give an option to download and play on ANY REAL CITY in the world, thanks to OpenStreetMaps! Fight the crime and help people near your home in Free Game mode!

Choose any larger city like New York, London, Berlin, Moscow.... or any smaller one like Albuquerque, Kaposvár, Windhuk, Sandomierz. PS. The gameplay itself divides in two modes - management and duty. During the duty mode your job is to answer the calls and dispatch adequate teams to the location, if you have them available. There is a lot of content in the game, and more will come! "Best Indie Game" award at Digital Dragons 2016 Indie Showcase goes to "911 Operator". WoodyMac - Magnetic Building Blocks by WoodyMac, Inc. Life After Kickstarter: 5 Costly Lessons From A Kickstarter-Backed Designer. For Jon Fawcett, Kickstarter success came with an unusual soundtrack: an air horn. The din started on May 7, 2012, the day Fawcett and his colleagues at Fuse Chicken, a four-person design outfit in Akron, Ohio, launched their first Kickstarter campaign.

They were trying to raise funding for Une Bobine, a product of Fawcett’s design that stuffed an iPhone charging cable inside a metal gooseneck, allowing it to double as a flexible docking station and makeshift tripod. It was a simple, clever idea, and the team set out with the modest goal of raising $9,800 to put it into production. In anticipation of their micro-windfall, the Fuse Chicken office prepared a ceremony of sorts. In the days leading up to the campaign, team members downloaded a slew of sound effects to their computers, with the idea that they’d play them in celebration whenever they received a new pledge. Fawcett’s sound effect was an air horn. “That lasted for about two days,” Fawcett says. 1. 2. 3. 5. Corter Leather Bottle Hook by Eric Heins. Pictures of limited edition Kickstarter Edition below!

Once the project has ended, you will get a questionnaire through Kickstarter to give your color choices and shipping address. Red is now in production and available in all reward levels! Hi! I'm Eric, owner and maker at Corter Leather. Corter is a one-man company- I make every single piece by hand with no machines in my apartment studio. The Bottlehook is very simple; it's a beautiful key hook for your belt loop that also opens bottles, and includes a natural hand-stamped leather tab for your info in case it's left somewhere.

-It's made in the USA. -It's cast out of steel for strength, then plated for looks. -There's a spot for your info, because once in a while we all open a few too many and forget to put our keys back on our belt loop. -There are no moving parts to break, which means you won't be locked out of the house like that time the spring on your carabiner broke and you lost all your keys. -It's a damn good bottle opener. The KODIAK, Re-Defining Survival: Integrated fire starting buckle, fire starting tinder, braided fishing line, and fishing hook, always on your wrist, so you can Live to Talk about it!

Throughout the past year and a half, we have come a long way and have developed market ready prototypes that have been throughly field tested. During this journey we have spent countless hours with CAD software, turned a drill press into an end mill, sacrificed several kitchen knives, super glued our fingers together, caught fish, and started lots of fires. We have met and corresponded with several vendors and have positioned ourselves for the next milestone. We came across a survival braid made of Paracord…then it hit us, let’s make it truly useful and functional. The evolution continued at the buckle with the ability to effectively create fire. We bought ourselves a hunk of plastic, made some prints and put an end mill bit on a drill press and somehow it worked out.

Heated Butter Spreader by THAT! We discovered that the current butter spreaders on the market are simply not adequate for spreading butter. We wanted to create a spreader that can effectively spread cold butter, and we wanted to do it without using any electricity nor hot water. We also demanded a solution that is completely safe to handle by small children, meaning that there cannot be any sharp edges. After months of ideation, experiments and prototyping, we finally have our solution. SpreadTHAT! It was a challenge to turn a high pressure die casted, open ended tubing into a sealed spreader, but we perfected unique manufacturing techniques to make SpreadTHAT! We have a brand new, complete supply chain all prepped and ready to go in the back end, and we have beautiful retail packaging and instructions done in the front end.

No project is without risk.
