photo credit Who says our favorite cheesy foods have to be off limits? Mozzarella sticks are awesome for every occasion, and make for a delightful snack that most of us have been accustomed to since childhood. Now that we’re mature college girls who are more health conscious, we can still have the cheesy snack we all love, guilt-free! What you need 12 sticks of string cheese in your choice of cheese, go for the low sodium kind if you want to be extra healthy 1 egg 2 tbsp of flour 5 tbsp of bread crumbs 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese A dollop of olive oil, or cooking spray
Seriously now, is there anything better than a roasted potato? Unless of course we are talking about mashed potatoes, then we might have something to debate about. As I have proclaimed here before I AM A POTATO HO and proud of it. It's hard not to be when they are so darn versatile. This dish is my entry for the first-ever POTATO HO-DOWN ROUND UP happening here July 16th.... To be a true Potato Ho and enter the round up you are required to use your Ho name (Your 1st pet's name plus your middle name).

Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups: Raspberry Leather Remember those super fun fruit snacks your loving and doting mother would pack in your school lunches? Yes, I am talking about the much beloved fruit roll-up. (Ok, I am probably dating myself here, but…) In the 80′s this was the jam.
There's a lot of misconception when it comes to "barbecue." The problem is the word itself. It's used as a synonym for grilling, refers to the grill itself, or to the meat being grilled; it also has a sauce named after it; and sometimes it's just the word for the party itself held outdoors in somebody's backyard. What, actually, is "barbecue"? American purists see things a little differently. To them, "barbecue" is a wonderful Southern tradition of slow-cooking with indirect heat and woodsmoke to transform cuts of meat, often inexpensive ones, into succulent, unbelievably delicious results.
October 2, 2010 My mom is obsessed with keeping a stocked freezer, but I guess I don’t really take after her, because my freezer tends to be relatively empty, aside from random containers of stock/ramen broth, frozen dumplings and pierogi. I admit, I store buy frozen chinese dumplings and pierogi for those times that I just don’t feel like cooking.
Well, I don’t think I could ever get tired of banana bread. But if you’re looking to try something a little different with those overripe bananas sitting in your fruit basket, how about a banana roll? Banana sponge cake spread with a thick cream cheese filling rolled up into one yummy package — what’s not to love?
I’ve been in a mini-mood lately when it comes to baking and these bite-sized pies met my big craving. They are really, really easy. Let me show ya. Of course, it didn’t hurt that I used ready to roll refrigerated pie crust. It comes two to a box and if you roll each round pie crust a little bit thinner with a rolling pin, you can get 24 mini pumpkin-shaped pie crusts out of them.
41. Chocolate-Raspberry Blend 1 cup each chocolate ice cream and raspberries, 2 tablespoons sugar and 3/4 cup each milk and ice. 42.
Now I don't want to over sell this, so I'm going to be conservative and simply say, that these are... The Best Brownies In The WORLD. I know, big statement. They're called Slutty Brownies because they're oh so easy, and more than a little bit filthy. They're best served warm from the oven, with good quality vanilla ice cream (devastatingly I didn't have any in the freezer this time, so I guess I'll just have to make them again). They take about 45mins to make, including baking time.
