Tenchi Muyo! Tenchi Muyo! (天地無用! , Tenchi Muyō!? , lit. "No Need for Tenchi! "), is a Japanese anime, light novel, and manga series created by Masaki Kajishima, Hiroki Hayashi and Hitoshi Okuda. The generally accepted translation of the title is No Need for Tenchi or Useless Tenchi, though at the time of its appearance it was also translated variably as No Heaven and Earth and This Way Up due to the original title's pun nature and multiple meanings. The original series began with a six episode OVA called Tenchi Muyo! A twenty-six episode anime TV series called Tenchi Universe (天地無用! Additionally, there are spin-off series (such as Magical Girl Pretty Sammy), as well as being adapted into a manga. Media[edit] The series as a whole, due to being rebooted several times and adapted into different media, is known for having several different continuities. Tenchi Muyo! Aside from the three main timelines, there also exist several spin-offs and adaptations, both in anime and manga form.

OVA[edit] Novels[edit] Outlaw Star. Trigun. Trigun (トライガン, Toraigan?) Is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow. The manga was serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Shōnen Captain in 1996 with a total of 3 collected volumes when the magazine was discontinued in in 1997. The series continued in Shōnen Gahosha's Young King Ours magazine, under the title Trigun Maximum (トライガンマキシマム, Toraigan Makishimamu?)

, where it remained until finishing in 2008. Both mangas were adapted into an animated television series in 1998. Plot[edit] Trigun revolves around a man known as "Vash the Stampede" and two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees, Meryll and Milley, who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Characters[edit] Vash the Stampede is a very kindhearted, expert marksman that tries to promote love and peace as he personally said in several episodes. Nicholas D. Bleach (manga) Bleach has sold more than 82 million copies in Japan, and is one of the best-selling manga in North America. The anime adaptation has been similarly received; it was rated as the fourth most popular anime television series in Japan in 2006 and held a position amongst the top ten anime in the United States from 2006 to 2008. The series received the Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen demographic in 2005, and is among the best-selling manga in both Japan and the United States.

Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager in Karakura Town who is gifted with the ability to see spirits and has his life changed by the sudden appearance of a girl named Rukia Kuchiki. Rukia is a Soul Reaper—one of many entrusted with the preservation of flow of souls between the World of the Living and the Soul Society (尸魂界(ソウル·ソサエティ), Sōru Sosaeti?) From where she originates from by fighting Hollows, dangerous lost souls who consume other souls.
