[REF] ROM, Kernel, Kitchen & Modem List - Galaxy S II (07/04/12) TIME FOR UPDATES! Hey everyone! The last ROM List I saw was last updated in July, so I thought I may as well make a new one and keep it updated.
Quand vous téléchargez une application, il est très important de toujours vérifier les commentaires des utilisateurs et surtout les permissions que l'application en question requiert. Parfois, une application n'a aucune intention malveillante, mais elle peut demander une permission qui vous est incompréhensible (exemple: une application d'horaire de train demandant l'accès à vos contacts). Avec CyanogenMod 7, vous pourrez désormais prendre le contrôle "total" de vos applications. En effet, les dernières "nightlies" (version alpha) de la ROM incluent un gestionnaire de permissions . Vous pourrez donc accepter ou décliner les accès des applications comme bon vous semble.

Google’s Android OS has often been touted as open – this is true to a large extent. Android is based on a modified Linux kernel, with it’s own Java interpreter and libraries, and Google has released the majority of Android code to the world as the “ Android Open Source Project ” under the Apache license. What this means is that anybody can download the Android OS, install it on a device of their choosing, and run Android, without having to pay any costs to Google. However, there are a selection of proprietary Google Applications within Android which are not included within this distribution: these are only available to Google’s partners within the Open Handset Alliance (generally technology manufacturers who develop branded devices and work together to develop the platform).

I'm no Dev, and i appreciate what every single Dev has done for us. I'm stoked about Honeycomb maybe getting up and running. I'd like to see the MIUI rom actually work, but sucks to have your hopes up and have them crash because of like our hardware not being up to par. Shoot i was actually excited for the possibility of even running Palm OS but that went down the drain quick.Not yet on Hero GSM, but port from hero CDMA to GSM should be easy.
