Taha Joubert is the founder of Sirens and Sappho.com, Strictly for women, regardless of sexual preference, race, religion or pay scale. At the end of the day the thing we have in common is the fact we are all sexual beings. Sappho's poetry centers on passion and love for various personages and both genders. The word lesbian derives from the name of the island of her birth, Lesbos. Sirens ~ were three dangerous bird-women, portrayed as seductresses who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.
