Student Attends Global Enterprise Summit. University of Gloucestershire student Lisa Barnett is heading for Malaysia as one of just 250 18 to 25 year olds from around the world joining 300 Malaysian young people for the Global Startup Youth Event.

Taking place in Kuala Lumpur next month, the Business and Management student has been selected to take part in the event from October 8 to 11. It is a key side event to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit which is from October 11 to 12. President Barack Obama is expected to deliver the summit’s keynote address, the theme of which is Empowering and Connecting Entrepreneurs. The Global Startup Youth Event is a three day programme of inspirational activities designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. Lisa has just become President of the Gloucestershire Enterprise Society, a student led enterprise network, and will be following the Business Management (Enterprise) Pathway.
