Mabinogi Life
Status attributes, often called "stats" for short, affect all aspects of your character, including (but not limited to) appearance and general competence in skills. These stats are displayed in white in the character window. If these stats are modified in any method other than the ones described above, they will be shown in brackets beside the new modified stats.
The stat boosts on this page are semi-permanent, meaning they will stay until you rebirth. Stats will not boost until eating a significant amount of food that gives the same stats. It is completely possible to eat hundreds of the same food and only gain one point. If you rebirth frequently, then it may not be worth the time, or money, to use food to gain stats.

Appearance - Mabinogi World Wiki
The appearance of a character depends on your regular diet. Generally, the more often you eats food the more corpulent in appearance you will be. Although you are apparently gaining or losing mass, it does not affect anything such as your Movement/Weapon Speed, Skills , or your ability to wear Clothes/Armor . The upper strength, lower strength, and body size/weight in the game directly affect only your appearance . There are upper and lower limits to how big or small you can get.
