Knock You Naked Brownies. Knock You Naked Brownies Please meet my new favorite brownie in the entire world, Knock You Naked Brownies. They don’t really knock your clothes off when you take a bite, but almost. I’ve had these bookmarked from The Pioneer Woman for way too long and finally got the chance to make them for a cookout. They were so good, I made a second batch to take to my mom’s work the next day. Those ladies love sweets as much as I do, so I had to share these with them. So, how’s it taste? This is another one of those times where I wish the Interwebs were advanced enough so a brownie would pop out of your screen while you’re reading this. That oozing caramel gets me every time.

Ingredients: 1 box (18.5 oz.) Directions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Wild Rice Burgers. The only time-intensive part of this recipe is the wild rice – depending on the particular grains you have, it may take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to cook. If you want, make the rice a day or two ahead, cool it on a baking sheet, and store it in the refrigerator until you're ready to make the burgers. We highly recommend seeking out natural lake and river wild rice, which has a better flavor than cultivated rice; either kind is delicious, though. If you don't live near the Great Lakes, look for wild rice at Trader Joe's; Emma has attested that it's quite good. Flashback to the Seventies - Chili Cheese Cubes. Chocolate Mousse Pie : The Hungry Engineer. The movie choice for the October edition of the movie food project was actually sort of an accident. My husband and I just happened to be flipping stations and caught it on cable a few weeks ago. October's movie is Waitress, and from a culinary point of view, Waitress is all about pies. Jenna (played by Keri Russell) is a small town waitress stuck in an unhappy marriage to a controlling man named Earl who treats her more like a pet than a wife.

She happens to have a gift for pie making, and her pies are featured prominently at the pie shop where she waitresses. Though she has plans of escaping her prison of a marriage (via an out of town pie contest with the chance of big prize money), those plans are placed in peril when she finds herself regrettably pregnant. Life seems to be falling apart around her until she meets her new doctor, Dr. Graham Cracker Crust: 1 ½ c crushed graham crackers ¼ c sugar 5 T butter, melted Combine the cracker crumbs and the sugar in a bowl. 6 T unsalted butter. I'll get back to that in February. :) I spent much of my December brainstorming sugary, gooey treats, so it has been hard to get them out of my brain. Last week I was pondering a "loaded" cookie in bar form, and how easy they would be if I used pre-made dough.

These bars were super slick to make, and they were as yummy as they look. I did not share them very well with others! Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
