Obama’s Bioeconomy Promotes a Genetically Engineered Future
Through the National Bioeconomy Blueprint the Obama administration is seeking to support genetic engineering as a main component of “American innovation and economic growth”. The Bioeconomy Blueprint will allow federal agencies to coordinate with each other and form relationships with private sector corporations to control employment and the economy while strangle-holding energy technologies as allocated by the President’s initiative. The bioeconomy will encompass rural and urban employment while overseeing all health, medicine and agriculture that has any social benefit. Regulatory agencies will be given advantage by having unlimited access to pharmaceutical data to expedite drug production and development.

Researchers Build Robot Arm That Can Shoot Hoops, Toss Darts
Researchers at Cornell and the University of Chicago have developed a gripper attached to a robotic arm that can shoot basketballs, throw darts, and grasp and propel other objects towards targets with stunning accuracy using a new application of "universal jamming." The gripper is simply an elastic membrane casing filled with granular material, according to a paper describing the research published on Cornell's Creative Machines Lab website. "The gripper passively conforms to the shape of a target object, then vacuum hardens to grip it rigidly, later utilizing positive pressure to reverse this transition—releasing the object and returning to a deformable state," according to the research team.
