Inertial Drives. Inertial drives are one of the most fascinating reactionless propulsion systems in my opinion. Assuming they work, they will create unidirectional thrust without expelling mass, using nothing more than typical electric motors to drive them. Eccentirc Axis Inertial Drives: An inertial propulsion system designed to, in theory, create significant amounts linear thrust in the form of un-balanced centrifugal force by slinging weights about an axis in a specific orbit. Several devices with this arrangment have been brought to life by amature inventors, such as the Sling Drive, the TIE, and the Dean Drive, but only a few seem to have any promise.

The primary eccentric axis device that I am familiar with is the Thornson Inertial Engine (TIE). This is a relatively simple and cost effective device, and I plan to build and experiment with the concept in the near future. Newton's Unfinished Theorem, The Inertial Drive Videos. Inertial-propulsion-in-russia. Dr. Gennady Shipov unveiled a new inertial propulsion drive developed by Russian inventor Vladimir Tolchin, adding to a growing body of Inertial Propulsion & Torsion-Physics research revisiting the basics of mechanical off-center rotators. He joins us to talk about several of the leading contenders in Russian inertial-drive technology, including a device by Valery Menshikov scheduled for testing this year by the Russian Space Agency… “In the Descartesian mechanics model, any movement is considered rotation – even linear motion, because it occurs in curved space. This is obviously the case in cosmology, where a planet’s linear motion in the curved space of the sun’s gravity-well forms a stable circular orbit.

This principle provides us with the opportunity generate net propulsive force with innovative mechanical systems. The invention we demonstrated by Tolchin is such a system… Download PDF. John Holt.
