How To Cut Glass With String. I posted a picture about 1 week ago on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter of me cutting glass using just string.

How To Cut Glass With String

I got LOT’S of requests for a tutorial on how I DID THIS! So here it is. FINALLY! You will be able to learn how to cut glass. I want to warn you. It’s best to triple your yarn because it will burn longer! Soak it GOOD! I like to tie my yarn where I want my glass to “cut” then quickly pour polish remover over the string again. Get a big bowl with ice and water ready. VERY IMPORTANT! Slowly turn your bottle. You can’t let the flame go OUT then dunk it in the ice water. YAY!!! I reallly hope you enjoyed this tutorial because I had ALOT of requests for it! © Copyright jaderbombllc, All rights Reserved. Citrus Holiday: Bits & Pieces Felt Ornaments. We made our ornaments from scraps of fabric and trim, leftover buttons and craft felt.

While we used a simple hand stitch on ours, you can also sew these up quickly on your machine. The key is to use what you have and your imagination. It's a fantastic way to introduce children to the creative world of sewing. Kids old enough to use a needle and thread will have fun picking and choosing their favorite bits and pieces, and cutting whatever shapes they like. They'll be beautiful however they turn out. Because these little ornaments are made from scraps, everyone will have a different mix of ingredients. Sewing machine is optional. How To Up-cycle Cardboard Shipping Boxes into Wall Storage Folders

Diane's friend, Michele, who shares her crafty brilliance on Michele Made Me, inspired me to take this idea one step further and recreate these absolutely useful Wall Storage Folders from common ole everyday ubiquitous cardboard! The folder I am making in this tutorial happens to be the perfect place to store knitting and crochet patterns I have ordered and am planning to make this year! It hangs right next to the shelves that house boxes and baskets filled with the yarn assembled for these projects. All very organized and pretty and inspiring! Two of the original folders that still hang on the wall near my computer and printer have been wonderfully useful for temporary storage of recipes, craft ideas and patterns that I have downloaded and printed.

And if you prefer, use paper - old paper sacks will even work - instead of fabric. DIY Chan Luu Bracelet. My goal this holiday season was to really try my best to make some homemade gifts.

DIY Chan Luu Bracelet

So far I’m doing pretty well with my wreath, some burlap covered candles, some personalized coasters and this past weekend I gave a try at some jewelry. You may have noticed how wrap bracelets are everywhere lately. Chan Luu bracelets are extremely popular these days. They come in singles and also in wraps. I love love the look of these bracelets.

I did the top bracelet by simply following this tutorial. 1. 2.Bring your needle up under the right cord through the center and pull the thread through. 3. 4. You will just continue to do this for every bead. I love my followers so come and join!! Like this: Like Loading...
