Here we present the tool "TV Metadata Generator", developed by Eurecom under the scope of the European Proyect LinkedTV FP7. In a nutshell, this application takes a video and its corresponding metadata files, available in different formats, and produces a RDF representation of the whole information. The knowledge graph obtained as result is suitable to be interlinked with other data in the Web, and allow the execution of complex queries that can bring the viewers a new way of enjoy Television. LinkedTV Ontology The LinkedTV model aims to make TV content and Web information seamlessly interconnected.

This ontology defines a list of classes that can be relevant in the vast domain of television content, like for example Chapters, Scenes, Concepts, Objects... and allows to link them with information in external datasets. LinkedTV Ontology The first step for serializing metadata about a certain television content is to choose the corresponding video. Select Video Video URL: Output Files: LODE - Live OWL Documentation Environment. Live OWL Documentation Environment (LODE), version 1.2 dated 3 June 2013, is a service that automatically extracts classes, object properties, data properties, named individuals, annotation properties, general axioms and namespace declarations from an OWL and OWL2 ontology, and renders them as ordered lists, together with their textual definitions, in a human-readable HTML page designed for browsing and navigation by means of embedded links.

This LODE service is an open source development, and can be freely used, as described in this document. It may be used in conjunction with content negotiation to display this human-readable version of an OWL ontology when the user accesses the ontology using a web browser, or alternatively to deliver the OWL ontology itself when the user accesses the ontology using an ontology editing tool such as Protégé and NeOn Toolkit. The following pseudo-URL describes the way to call the LODE service: where: www.essepuntato.it/lode is the URL to call the service.

The Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing benchmarks, benchmark practices and benchmark results for graph data management software. It is a Company Limited By Guarantee according to UK Laws. Members The LDBC has three different kinds of member types: Company Members, Non-Profit Members and Individual Members.

Each member nominates one person to act as a Director; together the Board of Directors is responsible for the decision making processes. The adoption, modification or retraction of benchmark specifications, are special decisions voted on outside board meetings, over a period of time. In these decisions, Individual Members have no voting power. The purpose of having Individual Members is to allow individuals who are not affiliated with an organization that is a member of the LDBC, to have some influence over benchmark-related activities through their expertise. PoolParty SKOS Quality Checker allows you to perform automated quality checks on controlled vocabularies. You will receive a report of our findings. This service is based on qSKOS and is able to make checks on over 20 quality issues. You will organize uploaded vocabularies by giving a name for which you may provide different versions of the same vocabulary. This way you can easily track quality improvements over time. When using our service you agree with the following terms of use: You agree that we (Semantic Web Company) store the information your login provider (depending on your selection either Google, LinkedIn, Xing or Twitter) passes to us when using our service. The Open Semantic Framework is a complete and integrated software stack that combines external open source components with specific enhancements developed by Structured Dynamics. OSF is a complete foundation to bring semantic technology capabilities to the enterprise. OSF has a variety of potential applications from enterprise information integration to collaboration networks and open government. OSF can integrate and manage all types of content — unstructured documents, semi-structured files, spreadsheets, and structured databases — using a variety of best-of-breed engines. All external content is converted to the canonical RDF data model, enabling common tools and methods for tagging and managing all content.

Ontologies provide the schema and common vocabularies for integrating across diverse datasets. The OSF stack consists of multiple layers. OSF features an automatic installer that retrieves and then installs all components in the stack. Broccoli. Linked Open Graph. 50 Ontology Mapping and Alignment Tools. I have been periodically tracking ontology tools for some time now (also as contained on the Open Semantic Framework wiki). Recent work caused me to update the listing in the ontology matching/mapping/alignment area. Ontology alignment is important once one attempts to integrate across multiple knowledge bases. Steady progress in better performance (precision and recall) has been occurring, though efforts may have plateaued somewhat. Shvaiko and Euzenat have a good report on the state of the art in ontology alignment.

There has been a formalized activity on ontology alignment going back to 2003. As far as I know, no one has kept a current and comprehensive listing of these tools and their active status (though the Ontology Matching site does have an outdated list). I welcome submissions of new (unlisted) tools, particularly those that are still active and available for download.
