RomanceComedy Fluttershy loves to care for animals, going so far as to help other people care for theirs as well. But during winter, when they're all snuggled up in their warrens and dens to hibernate, Fluttershy can hardly cope with the boredom. Always one to try and better herself (in non-physical ways that is) the yellow pegasus begins spending time at Twilight's library, learning as much as she can on... softer subjects. Finding that she had the capacity for far more love than just Animal care, and never expecting a certain lavender unicorn to occupy her thoughts. Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold is a 1956 novel by C. S. Lewis. It is a retelling of Cupid and Psyche, based on its telling in a chapter of The Golden Ass of Apuleius.

This story had haunted Lewis all his life, because he realized that some of the main characters' actions were illogical.[1] As a consequence, his re-telling of the story is characterized by a highly developed character, the narrator, with the reader being drawn into her reasoning and her emotions. This was his last novel, and he considered it his most mature, written in conjunction with his wife, Joy Davidman. Plot summary[edit] Part One[edit] The story tells the Ancient Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche, from the perspective of Orual, Psyche's older sister. It begins as the complaint of Orual as an old woman, who is bitter at the injustice of the gods.

Orual tries to rescue Psyche, who says she does not need to be rescued. When Psyche obeys Orual, the story relates that the God has no choice but to banish Psyche. Watership Down. Warrior Cats. Ah My Goddess. A long-running manga (since November 1988) that tells the romantic (and comedic) story of Keiichi Morisato, a short fellow with low self-esteem studying engineering in college, and the three Norse goddesses who move in with him. Because he is a genuinely good person, the sweet and beautiful Belldandy, Norn of the Present, is sent by "The Goddess Relief Agency" in Heaven to grant him a wish.

Keiichi, convinced he's being set up for a practical joke by the upperclassmen in his dorm, wishes that a girl just like her would stay with him forever. So she does. Keiichi and Belldandy enter into a very sweet, very low-key romance but then Belldandy's sultry elder sister Urd (the Norn of the Past) shows up, irritated because they haven't moved faster and into more advanced levels of intimacy. A Form You Are Comfortable With : It's been stated by a demon that, even though she looked human, it wasn't her true form. Absolute Cleavage : It's not surprising from Urd, or from Hild . Aww, Look! Time Enough for Love. The Man from Earth. The Man from Earth is a 2007 science fiction film written by Jerome Bixby and directed by Richard Schenkman. The film stars David Lee Smith as John Oldman, the protagonist of the story. The screenplay for this movie was conceived by Jerome Bixby in the early 1960s and was completed on his death bed in April 1998, making it his final piece of work.[2] The movie gained recognition in part for being widely distributed through Internet peer-to-peer networks and its producer publicly thanked users of these networks for this.

The film was later adapted by Schenkman into a stage play of the same name. The plot focuses on John Oldman, a departing university professor who claims to be a Cro-Magnon (or Magdalenian caveman) who has somehow survived for more than 14,000 years. Plot[edit] The movie begins with Professor John Oldman (David Lee Smith) packing his belongings onto his truck, preparing to move to a new home. The discussion turns to the topic of religion.
