Tree Loft Concepts. Passion Clayton Jones grew up in Springfield, Virginia, back in the late 1970s when outdoor fun was best. He had no video games or social networking sites, but played games like kickball and capture the flag, and rode skateboards with his friends. To broaden the play choices, Clayton’s and some other neighborhood parents decided to construct a treehouse. They carted lumber and ladders through the woods, and began an adventure that is still with the kids 25 years later. With that simple treehouse, the kids invented new games, stayed active and forged lifelong relationships. Clayton and his friends turned that treehouse into a vessel that travelled vast oceans and outer space; a fortress where they battled invading aliens; and a cozy special place for camp-outs, picnics, and many life lessons. Today, Clayton wants to thank those dedicated parents by passing on the gift.

The Movement Action Plan

During those two weeks, nuclear energy became a worldwide public issue as the mass media spotlight focused on the activists locked in armories throughout New Hampshire. Support demonstrations popped up across the United States, and in the following months hundreds of new grassroots anti-nuclear energy direct action groups started. The Clamshell Alliance was considered a prototype of the new movement. Activists throughout the country idealized the accomplishments of the Clamshell activists. That Friday night, I expected to meet a spirited, upbeat group that was proud of its accomplishments. The Clamshell experience of discouragement and collapse is far from unusual.
