They’ve been busy since then. Busy creating their own DIY wedding up in Summit County, Colorado. Copper Mountain to be exact. And when I say busy, I’m talking ‘spreadsheets.’ You may think Kristin is the one meticulously planning her special day with perfect rows and columns. She’s certainly been busy, but it’s Justin who’s been deep into making sure everything goes as planned.

Nick Grove. 2014 Wedding Industry Awards – Regionally Shortlisted – Best Wedding Videographer I’m very happy to announce we have been regionally shortlisted for the category of ‘Best Wedding Videographer 2014′ at the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards. And now we are awaiting to hear the final results coming very soon in late November early December. Eeek! It’s all very exciting. Since our national ‘Wedding Photographer of the Year’ award at the Wedding Retailer awards back in 2008 and our ‘First place’ result at the Wedding Photojournalist Association in 201o, we haven’t been entering competitions simply because there were so many to enter and we simply haven’t had the time.

However, the Wedding Industry Awards have gained a great reputation over the last few years. And with so many wedding photographers and videographers producing great work these days competition is fierce . So with this in mind we wanted to test our relatively new wedding videography skills against the best in the UK. By Nick Grove. f8 studio. Ben Chrisman. Kevin Wilson. Brett Tyler. Yervant. Just a couple of weeks ago we received a new amazing piece of equipment, a Nauticam Housing for the Canon MarkIII , we are like kids with a new toy, this is so Exciting!!! Last saturday I was invited by a friend to go diving to Cozumel, since I didn't have a wedding to shoot (sorry Mateo!) I thought It was the perfect opportunity to "baptize" the new baby in the ocean. My heart beats faster, my whole being feels in a state of trance while underwater... thankfully I had the best dive buddy I could ask for and he was watching over me, while I was mesmerized by the beauty and totally inmerse in learning the new housing, playing with the flash and trying to capture the magic of the underworld. We have use 3 different brands so far in housings for our cameras, Nauticam is the best I have ever had in my hands..

I'm smiling really BIG!!! All photos by Sol Photo with my iphone :) My amazing dive buddy Luis David Lobster! Photo by Luis David :) The textures are amazing! See the blue guy hidden.. Franck Boutonnet.
