I started to wear tunic tops when I developed arthritis and was unable to exercise or be as active as I once was. I was very self-conscious about a "belly" I had developed, something I'd never had to contend with. I discovered it was hard finding a tunic long enough for a long-waisted female that had any shape to it. I bought this tunic in navy and taupe. I have never worn either one of them without getting at least one compliment. One reason may be that I carry myself with more confidence when I wear one and I may get noticed more often.

What Should I Wear?
England I learned the hard way about sticking out as an American tourist in England, particularly in London, which is a very diverse yet cosmopolitan city. I brought my baggy, torn jeans and beat up Doc Marten boots, only to discover that the women in London were wearing very chic and stylish feminine clothes. For summer, I would recommend classic, well-fitted black or grey pants (modern cut, like boot-cut or slight flare) or a nice, modern skirt, plus a well-fitted, chic/hip short sleeved shirt (any color is okay, but black seems to rule).
