Would you like to become a certified scuba diver? The PADI Open Water Diver is the first diver level PADI offers and teaches you the essentials of scuba diving; including basic dive theory, underwater skills, dive planning and dive equipment handling and care. The course consists of a theory part, a pool session and four open water dives. For the theory part, you will get a manual and a DVD with all the relevant information included. SSI EAN Nitrox Diver Specialty Course with SB Divers - Dive Center in Thailand. Increase your no stop limit with Nitrox During the EAN Nitrox or Enriched Air Diver course, you will learn to conduct dives using Nitrox gas mixtures.
Strictly speaking, any gas mixture of nitrogen and oxygen is considered a Nitrox gas. However in diver terminology, we usually use the term to describe gas mixtures with more than 21 % oxygen. Common gas mixtures are EANX32 (32 percent oxygen) and EANX36 (36 percent oxygen). What benefits do we get with Nitrox? Minimum age: 10 year Maximal group size: 8 participants Course duration: 2 days, 1 day theory (doing it as a homework possible), 1 day on the boat.

Learn about the limits of recreational diving The Deep Diver Course will teach you how to conduct dives to the maximal allowed depth of recreational diving, 40 meters.
You will conduct four dives, the last one to a depth between 30-40 meters. You will learn the right procedures to minimize the risk of decompression sickness. You will also learn what to do, should it occur nevertheless, including how to administer oxygen and how to follow an emergency plan. As the no stop times at that depth are pretty short, it is recommended to combine the course with a Nitrox course, so longer diving at depth is possible. Would you like to try diving but don’t have time to sign up for a whole certification course? The Discover Scuba Diving Program offers you the chance to experience diving without any time pressure and with only minimal requirements. You will be thought only the most essential rules and skills of scuba diving while your instructor takes care of everything. This course fits people who don’t have the time or commitment for a full certification, but want to experience diving in an easy and non-committal way. The program is either offered as a “pool only” experience or in combination with an additional day on the boat with two supervised and guided open water dives. Minimum age: 10 years Maximal group size per session: 4 participants, 8 participants for “pool only” course.

Take exit 3; once you out of the metro walk behind the metro station. There is a small alley with shops and motorbike taxis. Ask a motorbike taxi to bring you to D-Haus at Lat Phrao 48, they usually know the way and costs are around 20 baht per way. Alternatively you can drive yourself, parking spaces are available. The costs to go down are minor, with the common local airlines offer round-trip tickets for only 2’200 baht, if booked early enough (we are happy to help you booking).
