I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies! What is it about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie stuffed with decadent, rich, melted chocolate that makes it so irresistible?? Especially when topped with vanilla ice cream.
I saw a picture of these the other day on Allrecipes.com and thought it was such a cute idea, I had to try it. After googleing it, I found a good tutorial on Stacy's Sweet Shop . I modified a few things to make it more simple for me (less homemade more store bought). To see the original Melted Snowman Cookie , and meet the inventor herself, go check out Meaghan (great name) @ The Decorated Cookie !
A friend had a "Dead Rock and Roll" theme Halloween party last Saturday evening. Everyone had to come dressed as there favorite dead rockstar. I was asked to bring something sweet to eat, so with all the hype over 3D movies these last couple of years, I wanted to make a special yummy treat that would have that 3D magic. You can use any rubber stamp image to make these cookies.
They are probably the best Oreo cakes I have ever tried. A lot of cake's that I have experimented with before are like a vanilla cake with bits of Oreo in them, which didn't really give them enough Oreo flavor. But these were a lot better. I used a dark chocolate fudge cake mix instead of just a regular chocolate cake mix, which went really well with the cookies and gave the cakes just a little more flavor. So, in this recipe there is Oreo's in the cake, in the frosting, and at the bottom is a Oreo surprise. That's right, you put a whole Oreo at the bottom of the cake.
This year for my birthday cake I wanted something completely different, I wanted to make a cake that could be interactive, fun and tasty. And what's more fun that playing with your food? How about digging through you birthday cake looking for dinosaurs?! Uncover dinosaurs buried under layers of delicious chocolate with each layer denoting a prehistoric era complete with biscuit and chocolate chunk boulders, a true paleontologist experience!

This has to be my new guilty pleasure! OMG, it’s such a burst of salt and vinegar flavor in my mouth. I’ve always LOVED salt and vinegar potato chips, but I haven’t had a bag of chips in so long. So when I came across this recipe, I just knew I had to make them soon. Well, I’ve made these twice and with every bite I take, I mouth out how “these are the best things ever!” Martha Stewart is a genius.

January 18, 2011 | Category: I'm an Eater I got my first taste of this salad dressing when a dear friend brought it over with a meal she had made for my crew right after Nola was born. From the moment the heavenly concoction hit my lips, I wanted to drink it right out of it’s re-purposed glass bottle.
If you ask me, Nutella should be considered one of the four main food groups. This chocolate-hazelnut spread has it all: healthy fat and protein from nuts , heart-healthy antioxidants from the dark chocolate , a touch of sweetness to fulfill that...um...sugar requirement...okay, so it's not quite ready for a starring role on the food pyramid. Who cares, when it tastes so good? The problem with traditional Nutella--in addition to its addicting flavor--is that it's loaded with modified palm oil.

There really isn’t much to this. I picked up a pound of “Grade B Extract Vanilla Beans” on eBay for $20 shipped and a handle of Vodka for $17.99. As it turns out a pound of vanilla beans is an incredible amount of beans.
