Last updated: March 15, 2011 An Update of Methodological Guidelines in Macroeconomic Datasets The statistical community is working closely to update macroeconomic statistical guidelines to meet the changing economic realities and emerging issues. The initiative is led by the update of the System of National Accounts 1993 ( 1993 SNA ). The 1993 SNA provides the methodological reference underlying other macroeconomic datasets that are also of interest to the Fund. These include the datasets on fiscal, monetary, balance of payments, external debt, international reserves, and price statistics.
