Un adolescente fue detenido ayer bajo sospecha de estar involucrado con la operación payback (Anonymous) La operación orquestada bajo ataques DDoS contra objetivos de lucha contra la piratería en los últimos meses, y más recientemente contra los que obstruyeron el trabajo Wikileaks . Las fuentes han informado que el detenido es uno de los operadores de IRC-Anonymous, conocido bajo el apodo de Jeroenz0r. La operación comenzó inicialmente como una "recuperación" contra equipos que trataron de impedir los sitios: BitTorrent The Pirate Bay, y los ataques DDoS se organizaran para devolver el golpe.
Hace unos días, la operación cambió de rumbo y en su lugar comenzó a perseguir a las organizaciones que muestren oposición a Wikileaks. En los últimos días varias empresas de alto perfil y las instituciones fueron bajadas, estuvieron fuera de línea temporalmente por los ataques DDoS como Mastercard, Visa y Paypal.
