Students attend class and complete the same assignments required of regular college students. Here are a few advantages to PSEO: Students may earn both high school and college credit. Who is eligible to participate? You must be a Minnesota high school sophomore, junior or senior, but your high school may require a certain academic standing or GPA before you are allowed to participate. Who teaches the course? The class is taught by a college professor. Where is the class taught? The class is held at a local college or university campus. How much does it cost? There is no cost to the student.

The admission criteria and review procedures are the same for all freshman applicants, regardless of the deadline type; we are not more or less likely to admit an applicant based on their deadline selection.
