We love it when customers use our panels to design a system that fits their needs. A Dutch customer recently mod-ed his Ortlieb handlebar bag. He wanted a removable and waterproof system. We like the detailed wire work, the storage … What do you do when you really want solar power, but you live in a 350 square foot apartment in NYC with no roof access?

Many Paparazzi followers will be familiar with the popular TINY and TWOG fixed wing autopilot boards that have allowed so many UAV pilots their first taste of autonomous flight. A few will even have had the pleasure of using the Booz multicopter autopilot board. All three of these designs are based on the Phillips LPC2148 microcontroller, which has proven to be a solid performer in this role. Antoine Drouin, the genius behind the Booz board, has once again outdone himself with a completely new series of autopilot boards based on the STM32 ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller, which has the umbrella name Lisa . The first available is the Lisa/L and it is this board that will be explored in coming articles. In the case of Lisa/L the 64 pin STM32F103RE processor has 64k of RAM, 512k of FLASH and runs at 72Mhz.

Teensy USB Development Board
The Teensy is a complete USB-based microcontroller development system, in a very small footprint, capable of implementing many types of projects . All programming is done via the USB port. No special programmer is needed, only a standard "Mini-B" USB cable and a PC or Macintosh with a USB port. The Teensy Loader makes getting code into your Teensy easy. Just press and release the reboot button and the processor runs the HalfKay bootloader, which is automatically detected.Pulse Sensor
Some folks in Belfast have created an interactive entertainment platform called Sensum , and it looks really cool ! “Sensum integrates emotional response reporting into any media and is universally compatible with a wide range of platforms and devices.” Wow. Catch up on all the biofeedback-in-entertainment news on their tumbler . The company behind Sensum is called Filmtrip, and they are not new to this kind of thing. We start off this post with the solution to our button feel issue from the our previous build. And here it is, we used the original ‘Duke’ board. Pretty obvious, eh? At least, it seems so now. Reusing the original PCB is a great choice; not only does it have the absolute correct locations for the buttons and joysticks, it also has the carbon traces that will let us use the original silicone button pads.
