Herbst Architects. You know one of my obsessions is making lamps.

When we moved in three years ago, we only had light bulbs ... no luster or lampshade. So I made a few lights (look here, there and here again). I still had to finish the staircase, I could have done the same wall lamps as in the hallway, but I wanted a little change. These are also in paper, and no, I'm not going to set fire to my house because I used energy saving light bulbs! Sabes que una de mis obsesiones es hacer lámparas! Tu sais bien qu'une de mes obsessions c'est fabriquer les lampes. You'll need: a sheet of Canson drawing paper, a ruler, a pair of scissors, glue and double-sided tape. Necesitarás: una hoja de papel de dibujo, una regla, un par de tijeras, pegamento y cinta de doble cara. Tu vas avoir besoin de: une feuille de papier Canson, une latte, une paire de ciseaux, de la colle et du double face.

Fold the edges of each rectangle for about 1 inch. Dobla los bordes de cada rectángulo a unos 2 cm. And voila! Y voilá! Et voila! I've got a lot of lamp all around the house.

I made these wall paper lamps in the entry. Once I had found the way to make the pattern, it was super fast to make several. Tengo un montón de luz por toda la casa. Hice estas lámparas de pared en papel para la entrada. Una vez que había encontrado la manera de hacer el patrón, fue súper rápido hacer varios. And to continue a short tutorial:Y para seguir un pequeño tutorial: 1/ Print, assemble and cut the pattern. 2/TURN POWER OFF and unscrew the base of your wall lamp. 3/ Remove a little the base of the lamp, you don't need to take it of or disconnect any cable. 4/ Slide the paper behind the base. The couple wanted to create a walk-in wardrobe space in the master bedroom, which was a challenge given the proportions of the room. Clare and Felix designed and constructed a partition wall with hanging space on the other side. There was some apprehension about creating the wall division, as it would block off some of the light, but it was the only way to give the couple the storage they wanted and, in the end, it worked out nicely.

‘You don’t have to look at the clothes, and you don’t need big bulky doors, which would have been a bit much in the space,’ Clare says. To keep light levels high, Clare chose metallic wallpaper to reflect light and give the room a hotel-luxe feel. Wallpaper; blind fabric, both Romo.
