A Styled Seaside Wedding & Love and Lavender. Today’s post is one of the cutest photoshoots we have ever seen! From the bride’s ruffled blue dress to the adorable pug in a bowtie, everything about it makes us smile. Mandy and Zoe of Dottie Creations and Dottie Photography did all the styling, stationery, and photography themselves! What talented ladies. The fun signage is a super cost effective way to add some major style points to your wedding. And those red shoes – swoon!! Seriously, how cute is that pug? We love how they wrapped all the tin cans with fun sayings as well.

Chelsea and Gareth, the models, looked stunning! Such a fun and colorful dessert table! Yes indeed! What a cute and easy prop!! Thanks Mandy and Zoe for letting us feature your work! Best of the Best #11: Wedding Arches | The Secret Life of Invites. I definitely want some sort of arch at the alter during my wedding ceremony. I think it will help give the open outdoor venue a focal point and help define the alter area. (see my wedding post here) The easy part was deciding I wanted an arch at the alter…the hard part is picking one that is perfect for the wedding. I have been searching high and low for photos!

I still haven’t found one that A- “feels right” and B- looks like I could actually make it, (yes, I am crazy and going to attempt to make my own wedding arch). In my search, though not perfect for me, per say, I have found a few that are really quite spectacular!! Take a look at the Best of the Best: Wedding Arches! 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Want to be like me and create your own wedding arch? Well, I wish I had the perfect little DIY wedding ceremony arch post for ya, but I don’t (perhaps after I create mine). 8. Until next time ladies & gents! Xo. Copperwynd Resort Wedding from Melissa Jill | Elizabeth Anne Designs: The Wedding Blog. “I felt lucky just to meet you and be your friend.

And I feel even luckier to have married you and love you for a lifetime.” Tanner and Rachel met on their first day of medical school and their friendship quickly turned into something special, and soon they found themselves gathering their closest family and friends for an intimate destination wedding at the Copperwynd Resort in Fountain Hills, Arizona, where Tanner spoke those words to his new wife. I love the deep burgundy and plum flowers from Petal Pusher and the beautiful desert setting! Rachel is a positively radiant bride, resplendent in her gorgeous lace Ulla-Maija gown, and these two are completely head-over-heels in love, as evidenced in the absolutely beautiful images from Melissa Jill . And if the amazing pictures weren’t enough, enjoy this gorgeous video trailer from their amazing cinematographers, Serendipity Videography !

Wedding Cake Time! | My Sweet and Saucy. Thanks so much for your sweet comments from our last wedding cake post! I am excited to share some new designs with you today as well! This first cake design I got inspired to create based off a intricate print. I loved how the bride & groom silhouettes were surrounded by words that described marriage & their relationship. I also love the color scheme of blush pink and grey…overall I was quite happy with it! Kyong did a great joy hand painting all the details on this cake…it definitely was a labor of love! These next three cakes were all for one wedding.

Kyong hand painted these gorgeous, delicate branches & added two fondant love birds. Up next was a simplistic two tier wedding cake we did for a modern Hawaiian style wedding. All buttercream cake below with detailed piping that matched the bride’s invitation. The bride wanted lots and lots of gold and that’s what we gave her! My idea of an all-white wedding cake…lots of detail & texture, but still simplistic & modern. ShareThis. Rustic Wedding Ideas - StumbleUpon. This Fort Worth, Texas wedding combines the bride’s passion for all things rustic with her love of peacock feathers. How about those blue peacock wedding shoes? They would have fit in perfectly with our blue wedding shoe round up… don’t you think?

Courtney, the bride shares more details about her special day here. Of course we have to mention the whimsical backdrop, elegantly decorated with rustic lanterns and antique chandeliers. We are also loving the collection of vintage lanterns over-flowing with fresh flowers. Both are such great ideas. All of this Texas wedding goodness captured by Ryan Ray Photography.

Maybe it's because yellow reminds me of sunshine? Or maybe it's just because I feel like yellow THE feel good color that encompasses everything I love about Summer? I suppose what I love most about Summer is that light-hearted and carefree feeling that only Summer brings. {Click to Enlarge} Details We Love Newlyweds in Love + Beeswax Candle Favors So what do you think? Choosing a colourful or bright wedding palette can definitely be subject to opposition and takes a bit more guts, but the reality is that fun colour combinations are breathtaking! Just look at this splendid Colorado wedding captured by Kerinsa Marie Photography. Abby and Kyle held their nuptials at the Idyllwilde Club House in Colorado amongst a sea of orange, brown and white. The couple are high school sweethearts who created their perfect wedding day with the help of family and friends.

We love the orange polka dot balloons, the orange centerpieces, the fun seating chart ladder, the cake buffet with charming pies, and the warm and rustic vibe of the venue. Inspiring, right! Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for sharing your charming wedding pictures with One Stylish Bride. Marci + Redge's Wedding & Rachel Thurston Photography. Everything about this wedding makes me miss Summer terribly. The color, warm light, peaches, tomatoes, flowers, Marci’s flowy dress, watching movies outdoors…sigh. Fall I love you but you will never be Summer. I was neck deep in 1st trimester nausea when I shot this wedding but, honestly, I was so transfixed on the thoughtfulness of the details that I don’t think I felt sick at all until I was in the car on my way home. I don’t need to say much…the photos speak for themselves. Marci and Redge have this soft, quiet aura around them which was cathartic considering the border line state of madness I live in. I want to leave you with a few words the bride shared with me about her day (Marci, I hope you don’t mind!) “We have a family tradition of going up to my Grandpa’s cabin around the 4th of July. How beautiful is that!!? I was honored to be there. xo. Amber + Jeff | Real Weddings Blog | Once Wed.

Amber and Jeff are such a sweet couple and I am so excited about sharing their super fun wedding today on Once Wed. Amber was generous enough to give us some background behind all her DIY details in 3 posts filled with inspiration, so keep checking back all day for more details… My husband and I met as mechanical engineering students back in university, so it goes without saying that we are quite the science geeks (I was actually in the Math Club during high school, where we stayed after school to write math tests for fun!). We started dating in 2000, and the first few years of our relationship were spent almost entirely within the confines of our university. We finally got engaged in 2006 and we knew right away that we wanted a small wedding (we ended up with a total of 45 people at our wedding, including ourselves).

When it came time to choose the theme/colours for our wedding, inspiration came from an unlikely item a sheet of looseleaf. First up, our save-the-dates.
