HerbPedia - HerbPedia. Kanna. Best elemicin trip ever! Is it possible this is just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with the 6B booster?

Best elemicin trip ever!

At times in the past I thought I had this elemicin thing all figured out. Real Life NZT-48. Those of you who have seen the movie Limitless know what I'm talking about.

Real Life NZT-48

The main character is given a drug that activates receptors in the brain that allow you to use your whole brain instead of only 10%. What if this was possible in real life? To an extent, it is. Acetylcholine receptors, when activated, produce a nootropic effect. D2 Receptors. Interesting thread with back and forth banter: Research leads me to conclude that: D2 is at the very least an additional hallucinogenic receptor, if not the only hallucinogenic receptor.

D2 Receptors

It causes dissociative hallucinogenic states (blocks NMDA's effect, causes visuals through an unknown mechanism). 5-HT2A increases the production of anandamide through its signal cascade, which, when combined with other signals, would lead to increased activation of D2 receptors. 5-HT2A Receptors: How Do They Work? 5-HT2A receptors are serotonin receptors that are designed to be activated by Mexamine.

5-HT2A Receptors: How Do They Work?

Although it is classified as a serotonin receptor (because serotonin binds to it and it is located on serotonin neurons), serotonin does not fully activate this receptor. The right proteins aren't activated when serotonin binds to this receptor. Mexamine, however, fully binds to this receptor. Mexamine becomes the primary tryptamine neurotransmitter during REM sleep, while Melatonin is the primary tryptamine during non-REM sleep, and Serotonin is the primary tryptamine during waking hours. Serotonin's Effects in the Brain (and other ramblings, haha) How do we know serotonin is the emotion-controlling molecule?

Serotonin's Effects in the Brain (and other ramblings, haha)

It's looking more and more like Phenethylamine is actually the emotion-controlling molecule, with MDMA mimicking the effects of PEA while also releasing Dopamine and Serotonin. Phenethylamine specifically binds to the D2 receptor from what I've read, which I'm thinking increases emotions. D1 activation causes euphoria itself, which can result in tolerance only to D1's effects. LSA + Cinnamaldehyde (cinnamon essential oil) The stability of products produced by cinnamaldehyde are generally very good compared to other aldehydes (especially acetaldehyde).

LSA + Cinnamaldehyde (cinnamon essential oil)

The reaction product made from mixing lysergic acid amide (LSA) and cinnamaldehyde will absolutely be much more stable than the original lysergic acid hydroxyethylamide (LSH) present in the seeds. I don’t believe LSH can react with cinnamaldehyde. Fresh seeds have more LSH (making them more psychedelic). In older seeds most of the LSH has broken down into acetaldehyde and lysergic acid amide (LSA), and the acetaldehyde has vaporized away. Such older seeds are pretty much void of LSH, and their effects are primarily sedating, and not very psychedelic, but these seeds still contain a lot of LSA. LSA is not all that unstable, and can last up to a year in normal storage conditions. Rhus Glabra (Smooth Sumac) and Cornus Stolonifera.

It looks like the main actives in Cornus are cornine and cornic acid (cornin).

Rhus Glabra (Smooth Sumac) and Cornus Stolonifera

Possibly and probably others as well. For cornus sericea, Don't know if you have them up your way but Georgia is covered up with flowering dogwoods (Cornus florida) which has cornic acid which is also a pain reliever and fever reducer. Still waiting for a killer headache or fever to try it out on... In the winter you have to go to the root bark instead of the twig bark. Species of this genus contain varying amounts of cornic acid (also called cornin) and the alkaloid cornine. From several articles:

Shemen Ha'Mishchah (The Holy Anointing Oil) The Holy Anointing Oil of Biblical times was said to be given to Moses from God during the Jewish exile from Egypt. Exodus 30:22 The Holy Anointing Oil was used to anoint the Tabernacle, The Ark of the Covenant, ceremonial candles and incense, as well as Aaron (Brother of Moses) and his sons. The children of Aaron are referred to as "Aaronites"... or "Kohen", which is the Hebrew word for priest. 26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, 27 and the table and all the vessels thereof, and the candlestick and the vessels thereof, and the altar of incense, 28 and the altar of burnt-offering with all the vessels thereof, and the laver and the base thereof. 29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy; whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. 30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office.

The Holy Anointing Oil as described in the Torah is as follows: The Mind Altering Effects of Sugars. I've always known sugar got you high and was addicting, but I never knew it went this far...

The Mind Altering Effects of Sugars

Today I went with a friend to Steak and Shake to get a bite to eat. For dessert we had an extremely delicious key lime milkshake, unlike anything I've ever had before. I haven't had anything with concentrated amounts of sugars in it for almost a week, but that doesn't fully explain why this happened tonight. As I was eating the milkshake I was paying attention to how it made me feel, and noticed the massive amounts of endorphins that came over me. I love my chocolate! Researching a little more, I've concluded that this needs more research... bottom line.

I love my chocolate!

There are multiple academic papers that all point, when discussing Anandamide, to one paper back in 1996. Even papers in 2011 are referring to the paper as correct. The only paper I've seen refuting the findings of Anandamide is the one present on Wiki which was published in 2009... Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics of Salvinorin A. Any potentiator for sublingual salvia ? Nux Vomica Basics. Nice to see you here too!

Nux Vomica Basics

While nux vomica contains quite a bit of brucine it’s super weak so you won’t get any effects from it at all. You would need an overdose of nux vomica before it would start having any effects. So its presence is totally insignificant. You can’t tell the difference between the effects of nux vomica and those of pure strychnine. So there’s really no need to extract the seeds. Nux vomica goes REALLY WELL with the LSA/LSH/LSD class of psychedelics. They also go really well with kava kava. There are some Chinese shops that sell nux vomica powder, but its usually treated to remove the strychnine. 50 mg of ground seed is about 1/40th of a seed and contains about 615 micrograms of strychnine for the average seed (up to 1325 micrograms if the seed is super potent), a good safe adult dose. You can find the whole seeds available untreated at some places that sell rare seeds for propagation purposes. The seeds are SUPER TOUGH. Supposed Psychoactives. Nice find on the old thread.

In the last post there, it mentions Harmaline alkaloids found in the plant.... Sounds like more than one alkaloid or compound is at work here.... From the descriptions given in multiple pieces we can make the following hypothesis': 1) Enter a "deep" sleep -possible sedative / tranquilizer? 1.5) Notice that shaman / medicine men would carry this plant around with then to relieve pain -possible opiate instead?? Deep sleep, with pain relieving properties?? Clove oil (eugenol) as a potentiator of psychedelics. Nature's Herb Forum Nutmeg Oil (Myristica fragrans) Nature's Herb Forum Parsley Seed Oil (Petroselinum sativum) Nature's Herb Forum Elemi Oil (Canarium luzonicum) My Upcoming Attempt at Oilahuasca (Need Suggestions!) Thanks for all the info. My German Chamomile EO hasn't come in yet, so I'm trying something else tonight: -1:30 - 3 capsules St. John's Wort -1:00 - 2 1gm tablets L-Lysine and 1 400mg tablet SAMe (I remember once reading it's good for oxidation...is this outdated information?)

-0:30 - 18 drops Elemi X Booster 6B, 2 drops Calamus Oil, 15 drops Lemon Oil, 15 drops Anise Oil. (All gelatin caps) 0:00 - 15 drops Nutmeg Oil in a gelcap, 15 drops Basil Oil in a gelcap, 15 drops Elemi Xtreme in a gelcap, another 20 drops Elemi Xtreme in a vegicap. Oilahuasca: the new psychedelic frontier. Avoid taking choline or foods high in it. Avoid taking lecithin or foods high in it. Avoid eating fish. Activating Elemicin, Myristicin and Safrole: the missing element. Nausea and vomiting from phenethylamine HCl. Yeah, I was kind of getting the same feeling a while ago about that, but I just didn't feel it was within my place to challenge someone who knows a lot more about it.
