A trick used in making many comics is the stat panel – reusing existing art for storytelling reasons or just to save time. Sometimes a small part of the art will be altered (like the mouth) or maybe the line art will be recolored to match a new scene.

In a few short hours, I will once again be getting my ass on another plane, this time to Seattle for Emerald City Comicon. We’ll be exhibiting at Booth #306 for the duration of the weekend, and you can find both Lar and myself there (unless something shiny catches my eye).The phenomenon of Axe Cop is one that I've watched closely.
