Roughly three times the size of Texas, it's the world’s largest archipelagic nation. It is also the most populous Muslim nation in the world today. Recent natural disasters, including the tsunami in 2004 and a series of more recent earthquakes and volcanic activity, have wreaked havoc on Indonesia's population and economy — destroying homes, families and jobs.
