Wine. Konzern - Home. Düsseldorf Travel Guide. Life in Leuven. Living in Leuven Summer sunrise from our bedroom balcony. (Photo credit to Michael) 3 July 2010 Heatwave! It has been ridiculously hot here all week and shows no signs of improving anytime soon. Ugh. This part of the world is not prepared for such heat, and I certainly am not either! Air conditioning is rare and we use our feet or bicycles to get around. It is way too hot to walk around wearing The Boy, so we finally pulled out the stroller that someone gave us. Clark keeping cool on a Saturday afternoon. Our funny boy. His favorite place (besides the couch). 4 July 2010 Le Tour I have made it to the Tour de France for the last three years... this year it comes closer than ever before, and I didn't go!

Part of the reason for including Belgium in the Tour was to celebrate the birthday of Eddy Merckx. Belgium will be remembered for all the crashes (although the stray dog was in the Netherlands). Big crowds in Belgium. More big crowds. The Dutch were also quite pleased to host the big start. Ugh. The Onion Bag: World Cup Special. Yes, They're lovely aren't they. You could just play that all day, couldn't you. Unfortunately, so does everyone else. Our poor server is creaking under the strain. As such we've had to ration people to one play a day. Sorry, come back tomorrow. In the meantime, there's plenty of cool stuff on here you can look at...

Frankfurt Airport City - Homepage. Germany travel guide. From the high Alps in the South, the Bavarian plain, and the flowing hills of central Germany to the coast of the North and Baltic Sea: it all looks like a miniature train landscape packed with the nicest of old towns, medieval houses, gothic churches. Thanks to the different regional princedoms, earldoms, monarchies and states Germany did not unite until the last centuries. Thus Germany has not one but many major cities. And each city has its own unique character, formed by its history and the surrounding region. Each is a whole new world unto itself in which you will experience not only different architectural styles and art treasures but also a very distinctive lifestyle. To start in the north, spend some days in Hamburg, Bremen or Lübeck, those old "Hanse" cities, whose prosperity arose from the independent shipping trade. Right in the centre Hannover is worth a visit.

Germany's cities have endless pleasant surprises in store for those who enjoy good food and drink. Travel to Venues at WC2006 FIFA Your Way. Germany 2006 - Home. Visit Germany - Travel and Tourism.
