After you have imported the crack image, adjust the size by using the transform tool by pressing the CTRL+T. while resizing the image, you will need to press SHIFT in order to MAINTAIN the image PROPORTION. Now click the ROUND or ELLIPTICAL MARQUEE tool and select a perfect circle on the image. After that, press SHIFT+CTRL+I to invert the selection, then remove the outer areas by pressing the DELETE key.
