Eureka (stylized as EUR e KA ) is an American science fiction television series that premiered on Syfy on July 18, 2006. Since then four seasons have aired, and a fifth began on April 16, 2012. [ 1 ] The show is set in a fictional town called Eureka, Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest inhabited almost entirely by geniuses and scientists . Nearly everyone in Eureka works for Global Dynamics, a huge advanced research facility responsible for the development of nearly all major technological breakthroughs in the last 50 years. Each episode features a mysterious accidental or intentional misuse of technology, which the town Sheriff , Jack Carter , then solves with the help of town scientists. Each season also features a larger story arc that concerns a particular major event or item.
Dexter is an American television drama series, which debuted on Showtime on October 1, 2006. The sixth season premiered on October 2, 2011. The series centers on Dexter Morgan ( Michael C. Hall ), a blood spatter pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who moonlights as a serial killer . Set in Miami , the show's first season was largely based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay , the first of his Dexter series novels.

American Dad! is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company . The show is owned by Underdog Productions and Fuzzy Door Productions . It is produced in association with 20th Century Fox Television . Better Off Ted is an American satirical situation comedy series, created by Victor Fresco (known for his other television series Andy Richter Controls the Universe and the short-lived show Life on a Stick ), who also served as the show's Executive Producer. The series premiered on the ABC network on March 18, 2009. [ 4 ] Better Off Ted focuses on the titular protagonist, Ted Crisp ( Jay Harrington ), a single father and the well-respected and beloved head of a research and development department at the fictional, soulless conglomerate of Veridian Dynamics. Ted dictates the series' events by regularly breaking the fourth wall and directly addressing the audience as the show's on-camera narrator. Supporting characters include Ted's supervisor Veronica Palmer ( Portia de Rossi ), co-worker and love interest Linda Zwordling ( Andrea Anders ), his daughter Rose ( Isabella Acres ), and laboratory scientists Phillip Myman ( Jonathan Slavin ) and Lem Hewitt ( Malcolm Barrett ).
