UPDATE: after some confusion I separated the pattern, the larger version is still right here, comparable to a size 4, and the smaller crochet wrap around button infant boot is on it’s own post. I am SO excted to share this tutorial with you. I saw this picture and I couldn’t help but try to create my own version of it! My cousin just had twins last week so I made a boy and girl version! Of course I made them to fit my model so they won’t fit the twins for SOME time. But they are precious! Yes, I made my sweet little boy wear the girls boots for this picture.

I started with a size to fit my model, Baby Boy. Baby Crochet and Photo Props : HappyBabyCrochet. My first love when is comes to crochet is making baby shoes. Happy Baby Crochet actually started as Happy Baby Shoes but then progressed more to hats and photography props. What can I say....I love all baby stuff! I started making baby booties before my first son was born. I love soft sole shoes and wanted to make some of my own colors and designs. Then I made them for my friend's babies, and ultimately selling my finished work.

Who doesn't LOVE baby booties? Soft and warm for a new baby's tiny little feet! I don't have a pattern to share with you today, only a photo tutorial. Really an invisible join just makes everything even out so you can begin the next section. Invisible Join - (while working, don't forget to weave the ends of your yarn). Well, hope you enjoyed this post and this helps a little with following patterns. Free pattern: crocheted baby mocs (3-6 months) | Baby and Wool. Boy's Slippons Final. Free Crochet Bootee Pattern. Hello fellow crafty people. :) This little bootee is made with the old-fashioned Daisy Stitch. It is not at all lacy so is just as suitable for little boys as little girls. The instep makes an ideal 'canvas' for little cross stitch designs, or any other sort of embroidery you might like to add to personalise them. I particularly like bullion roses.

If you want to make these in advance but you don't know whether the baby will be a boy or girl why not make them in white and then do the tie and trims in another colour once baby arrives? Remember you can put a trim around the sole too. To see that look at the Shell Stitch pattern here. They'd also look wonderful done in bold, contrasting colours. Size: The bootee and slipper both measure 10cm (4") along the sole and 4cm (1.5") across the sole.

I hope you enjoy making them... As a bit of an experiment I've tried putting a video of the Daisy stitch below. In the window and with a little luck you'll see the clip. British Terminology Pattern.
