DO IT YOURSELF: T-Shirt Weaving. I have a lot of t-shirts. Long sleeved, short sleeved, too small, too big…. I especially have a lot of oversized t-shirts that I like to wear as tunic dresses. Because I have quite a few, I find it difficult to style them without being repetitive. So, inspired by books such as Generation T and Youtube tutorial experts like itsblitzzz and secretlifeofabionerd, I decided to try my hand at some t-shirt reconstruction.
I designed the weaving pattern myself, it is quite simple and if repeated a few times creates an interesting chevron stripe pattern on the sleeve. Then sew the jump rings on to the shirt using a needle and thread 3 .To Make the chain piece that you are attaching to the front of your shirt~ start by connecting the chain to three jump rings. 5.

"Re-Style #56 Heart Shaped, Off the Shoulder Tee-Shirt. I hope I am finding all of you well this week. In honor of Heart Day, I wanted to do a Heart, off the shoulder Tee-shirt. Now, I am going to be honest with you, this was not a super easy 5 minute shirt, but it was not the hardest either. If you have a sewing machine and an hour, you could most definitely make this. Tutorial Things you Need Tee-Shirt~ I used a large, Grey, Hanes Tee-Shirt~Scrap piece of T-Shirt in a contrasting color, or just a scrap piece of material to cover the heart you make.Sewing MachineScissorsStraight Pins First cut your collar off to make your shirt an off the shoulder shirt, ~ I cut right around the edge of the collar If you want to keep the collar, then leave it alone. draw a heart on your shirt with chalk You could trace one on paper or print a heart off the internet if you don't want to draw it free hand.
Inside your heart, draw lines 3/4 of an inch apart. carefully cut the lines inside the heart. Turn it back right side out and sew around the edge of the heart. Anne. Project Re-Style #39 Skull Cut Out Tee. Welcome everyone, to my Project Re-Style day. Today's Re-Style is going to be another Tee Re-style. With Halloween quickly approaching, I thought it would be a great idea to do a Halloween related T-Shirt.
I saw this idea first on I changed it a little, by sketching my own skull, but the idea is the same. You could also use your own imagination and make anything you want. Tutorial Things you need 1. 2. 3.Chalk 4. 5.Ruler Cut out your shape Cut off the collar ~for an off the shoulder look . Trace the skull onto your shirt with chalk , using your ruler, make lines about 1/2 of an inch apart. Cut where you drew the lines. Make sure you do not cut the eyes and the nose. Then stretch the shirt out a little, to curl your cuts. in GRAY and BLACK Mix it up with a different color tank top, to change the look. 39 down 13 to go Click on the picture for all the details about Project Re-Style.
