I get a lot of hits to this site from search terms asking for calories burned during a certain workout dvd. I have a ton of these dvds so I decided to start a page that lists how many calories I’ve burned during each one. Keep in mind that I’m a 5’5″, 135 pound female so it will be different for each person, but this will give you a good estimate.
I like “accessorizing” my workouts with new pieces of equipement to fight fitness boredom. Using the latest equipment at the gym might help, but it’s also fun to use things you already have at home: I came up with this handbag workout using a solid handbag and placing 4 kg (8.8 lbs) of rice in it.
