Thanks for visiting! Even if you’re a networking meistro, there will often be times when you have little or no commissioned work coming in. It’s easy to take this as a confidence knock or grab the chance for an un-scheduled holiday, but this free time can be used productively to further your career. From working on your dream project to learning new skills, your time is your own to use as much or as little of as you choose. Here are ten ideas to put to use in order to use your extra time productively: 1. Back when you started out, was there an end goal you had in mind that has got lost among the day-to-day work? 2. Et si l’équipe d’Arty Farty, en charge du festival, met fin cette année aux Echos Sonores, son rendez-vous club mensuel, elle n’en demeure pas moins génératrice de projets. Une manifestation hivernale, une nouvelle salle ou l’export de son savoir faire en Algérie. Vincent Carry, le directeur du festival, également conseiller artistique de la Gaîté Lyrique à Paris, fait le point. Crédit photo : Richard Bellia Les Echos Sonores prendront fin pour leur grande 100e en décembre avec, en tête d’affiche, Laurent Garnier, parrain et digne représentant de la manifestation.
On travaille sur une économie au rasoir, mais on finit toujours par équilibrer. Un nouveau format est donc en cours d’élaboration chez Arty Farty qui devrait voir le jour en septembre 2012, avec une volonté de mettre en lumière la création numérique et audiovisuelle, le tout dans un lieu dédié.
